Weddings are made eternal with every beautiful portrait. And of course, what golden hour could truly be complete without a gorgeous bride-to-be and her equine sidekick? This romantic, southern styled shoot was a dream to capture. The majestic buckskin mare was less than thrilled about her wreath but still made for the most enchanting styled shoot! The florals had a neutral, whimsical color palette and were so perfectly put together. This equestrian styled shoot was the perfect end to a Mississippi evening. As the famous quote says, “To many, the words love, hope and dreams are synonymous with horses.” Check out this amazing set of portraits brought to us by Jannah Alexander Photography. Enjoy!

Take this Advice
Make sure to decide early on the things that are the most important to you and stick to them – that is the key. Rain happens on wedding days, dresses get muddy, things occur that are out of your control – just choose 2 or 3 things that you really care about no matter what and it will make the other details of planning seem not so stressful. Don’t forget to smile when you walk down the aisle! I tried not to cry when I walked down the aisle and I had the silliest look on my face! Now I tell all of my bride to SMILE! ~Jannah Alexander/Photographer

Jannah Alexander is very unprofessional and over priced! I emailed her making a request for my daughter’s pictures and rather than answering me she contacted my daughter, causing a problem between the Bride and myself 4 days before the wedding. she could have replied that she couldn’t or didn’t want to provide what I asked, she chose the route to talk to my daughter and cause conflict-If she cared about her client she would have chosen to respond professionally to me, and in a timely manner. One of the pictures taken under the arch on the stage of our church of my 3 children is totally off centered, she didn’t pay attention to important detail. Jannah perched on a stool in our church during pictures and never moved. She never once touched my daughters veil, train, hair, never told anyone to button their coat or stand up straight. She cut my grandson out of the picture, the only whole family picture we took. My husband-the brides dad-his tie is all hanging out over the side of his coat. She did not pay attention to details. She got no sweet pictures of me with my daughter that my boobs weren’t exposed in the photo. She was completely a point and shoot. She is extremely inexperienced and thinks she is better than she is, therefore WAY overpriced. She lied to me about having an insurance policy, purchasing it after I requested the certificate for the venue. My daughter looks all washed out and and standing manly in her individual pictures.
Not a single picture was taken without the dress busselled. I’ve emailed her 3 times now and she will not reply. Its been 5 months now. Very disappointed. She may turn out to be a professional photographer as she gets older and matures, but for now she’s still a beginner. Save your money!
