A reflective of traditional, antique elegance, warmth, personality, and simplicity, the rustic chic wedding theme is getting more popular. It might convey different feels for different people, but with natural earth elements and design twists, it is definitely beautiful. Here is yet another fancy and rustic inspired shoot brought to us by Ivonne Carlton Photography and the rest of her amazing vendors. Cheers to the team’s creativity!

As the photographer shares,
The Venue
We chose The Paseo Wedding and Event Venue in Apache Junction, AZ. With breathtaking Superstition Mountain backdrops, natural Sonoran Desert views and amazingly vibrant Arizona sunsets. The Paseo is the perfect outdoor venue and a perfect canvas to create your Rustic Chic wedding masterpiece.
Depending on the location of your big day, you may have many choices for your venue, and if you review those selections, think chic, flair, and elegance. Pavillions, large old barns, dance halls, traditional textures and landscapes are key. All these architecture elements add to the overall “rustic” ambience. The Paseo has them all. Outdoor settings will work if the weather and season matches your needs. In Arizona, we find, that is pretty much nine months of the year!
The Bridal Dress
When you think about the perfect dress, remember who you are, it must reflect you, have a sweet natural look, but possess a simple, refined elegance. Choose something traditional, yet sophisticated like this beautiful short sleeved lace dress provided to us by A Dressy Occasion. Think about your hair and make-up. Appear like an angel, exactly how Baby Doll Weddings made our Bride appear. Envision how you want you and your dress to flow as you move and dance towards the altar. Your look should be simple but fabulous!
The Flowers
Florals manifest another extension of the “Chic” look you are trying to achieve. Simple, elegant and beautiful. You can create this look with antique silver candelabras or nickel candle holders placed around your venue. Of course, a little greenery never hurts. Or, you can decide on basic vases peppered with a few stems of simple flowers.
For the styling of this photo shoot, we chose a simple, natural color palate layered with a unique and complex floral design. Our Bouquet, Boutonniere, and Centerpieces were composed of Eskimo Roses, Anemone, Parrot Tulips, Veronica, Blue Thistle, Bells of Ireland, Green Tickand White Sock surrounded by greenery layers of Plumosa, Italian Ruscus, Willow Eucalyptus, Gunnii Eucalyptus, and Lemon Leaf. The floral artistry for this styled shoot was detailed by the amazingly talented Flower Girl Events and styled meticulously by Ivonne Carlton Photography, Lace and a Barn Wedding Rentals and Design, and Events Your Way Wedding Planner to create this amazing floral imagery.

Your result has to strike the perfect mix of sophistication and just plain “Pure Chicness”; as we believe our combinations certainly did.
